A sustainable festival pavilion, the laboratory of festival land. Main focus is the foldable construction of the houses, the recycled and sustainable materials and the realisation. Summerlabb will open at Extrema festival, and will further be present at the Rotterdamse Wereldhavendagen and Eurosonic Noorderslag.

In semester A of 2013-2014 Floor van Schie designed a festival pavilion in commissioned by the Summerlabb foundation. Her design got chosen out of twelve projects to be realised. Semester B of 2014-2014 was marked by the realisation, and adjustments to the original design where necessary. Together with Marthe Doornbos (Building Physics and Services) the three of us got this assignment. Under the guidance of Faas Moonen, Tom Veeger, Renato Kindt and Ralph Broderuck and together with the Summerlabb foundation and Orga architecten the design was discussed, improved and structural and physical elaborated.
